View Weather Monitoring in a larger map
Our idea, was for the students to use the map above to understand and explore weather in the two areas (Hawaii and Hong Kong). The students will spend time conversing with another first grader in Hong Kong about the weather there and then will have to research the weather in Hawaii. After the student has done so they will be required to make a PowerPoint presentation of their comparisons. The Map is a visual for the students to see the different areas they will be researching. Also on the Google Maps, there is a weather portion that can be pulled up. This will be good for the students to look at and see the overall weather patterns for the area of research. Overall, our map is for the students to see the complete area they are asked to compare and in what relation it is to Michigan.
